Unlock the vibrant, high-contrast world of chalk pastels by utilizing the abrasive surface of sandpaper. In this fast-paced, 2-hour class we avoid realistic drawing and embrace abstract expression!
Sandpaper acts as the perfect toothy surface that allows textured layering, color saturation, and dramatic grains
Create a dynamic abstract piece from start to finish while exploring how the rich texture of sandpaper enhances this drawing medium.
What is Included:
Sandpaper
Dry Pastels
Other Drawing Materials
What to Bring:
An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy (pastels are washable but are very dusty and can get everywhere!)
NOTE: All students under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult. (Adult chaperones do not need to sign up for the class, but must be present on-site for the duration.)
