Unlock the dramatic potential of black and white art.
Designed for those looking to learn initial drawing skills, this class explores the foundational techniques of creating depth, volume, and texture without the use of color.
Through step-by-step demonstrations and guided practice, you will learn how to build rich, dynamic values—from deep blacks to stark white highlights—using graphite, charcoal and white pastels.
What is Included:
Pencils
Black and White Drawing Mediums
Drawing Paper
Erasers
What to Bring (Optional):
An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy (all drawing materials are washable but some are very dusty and can get everywhere!)
NOTE: All students under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult. (Adult chaperones do not need to sign up for the class, but must be present on-site for the duration.)
